It was announced publicly that Vader passed away on the night of January 18th. His son, Jesse White, broke the news on Vader’s personal twitter account.

Vader made his debut in Japan in 1987 for NJPW. Where he would go on to become a three time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Then in 1999, he would go on to win that years Champion Carnival league in All Japan Pro-Wrestling and even be a two time Triple Crown Champion.

Vader last competed in Japan back in April of 2017, as he competed for Tatsumi Fujinami’s DRADITION promotion for two shows on April 22nd at Korakuen Hall and April 23 in Osaka.

AJPW NEWS

~ It was made official that Ryoji Sai will defend the Asia Heavyweight belt against Bodyguard and July 29th in Osaka. The match joins the previously announced Triple Crown main event of Miyahara defending against Zeus.

POWER HALL NEWS

~ Another addition was made for the upcoming show on July 10th, as Gota Ihashi will be taking on the veteran grappler Yoshiaki Fujiwara in the opening match. Ihashi suffered much scrutiny from Choshu after competing on the January show, but the little big man is set out to prove that he deserves to compete as a professional wrestler.
