~ Jun Akiyama, Takao Omori, Masanobu Fuchi, and Kyohei Wada came out to the ring for an honoring ceremony for Bruno Sammartino and Motoko Baba who both passed away this month.

(1) Takao Omori, Masanobu Fuchi, Osamu Nishimura (FREE) & Ishikiri (LAND’S END) vs. Shuji Ishikawa (FREE), Atsushi Aoki, Hikaru Sato & Yusuke Okada
Winner: Ishikawa (13:46) following a Fire Thunder on Ishikiri.
(2) Kento Miyahara, Joe Doering, Koji Iwamoto & Yohei Nakajima vs. Ryoji Sai (LAND’S END), Yuji Hino (FREE), TAJIRI (FREE) & Atsushi Maruyama
Winner: Maruyama (6:58) with a Hurricanrana on Yohei.
~ A quick flash pin, as Yohei’s team was initially shocked that he suffered the loss.
~ Miyahara asserted himself as the TC Champion at Yuji Hino, as the two are scheduled to face tomorrow.

(3) Carnival A Block Match: Naoya Nomura vs. Shingo Takagi (DRAGON GATE)
Winner: Shingo (10:41) with the MADE IN JAPAN.
★ Shingo [4 wins, 2 losses = 8 points]
★ Nomura [1 win, 5 losses = 2 points]
(4) Carnival B Block Match: Yoshitatsu (FREE) vs. Yutaka Yoshie (FREE)
Winner: Yoshie (11:43) with a Diving Body Press.
★ Yoshie [2 wins, 5 losses = 4 points]
★ Yoshitatsu [3 wins, 4 losses = 6 points]

~ Jake Lee appeared and announced that he left out a key part of return announcement at the Saitama Super Arena. That he wishes to face Kento Miyahara, Naoya Nomura, and Yuma Aoyagi in the future and thus he made it official of his withdrawal from NEXTREAM. Lee’s return match will be on May 24 at the Korakuen Hall.

(5) Carnival B Block Match: Zeus vs. KAI (FREE)
Winner: KAI (13:57) with the Originator certified Gannosuke Clutch.
★ KAI [3 wins, 4 losses = 6 points]
★ Zeus [4 wins, 3 losses = 8 points]
~ KAI with the win, as he keeps Zeus from being able to take the final lead in the B BLOCK.

(6) Carnival B Block Match: Suwama vs. Dylan James
Winner: James (7:15) following a Chokeslam.
★ James [3 wins, 4 losses = 4 points]
★ Suwama [4 wins, 3 losses = 8 points]
~ James with the much needed win, as a reigning World Tag Champion, as he keeps Suwama from breaking out in the lead in the B BLOCK.

(7) Carnival B Block Match: Jun Akiyama vs. Naomichi Marufuji (NOAH)
Winner: Marufuji (20:53) following the Ko-oh.
★ Marufuji [5 wins, 2 losses = 10 points]
★ Akiyama [4 wins, 3 losses = 8 points]
~ Marufuji captures the win as these two last faced off for the first time in a little over 5 years. In turn he secures the #1 spot of the B BLOCK.

~ With the B BLOCK now decided, the next show on April 29 will determine the winner of the A BLOCK.
