All Japan announced that the “Evolution” team of Suwama, Hikaru Sato & Yusuke Okada will be taking on Kazuyuki Fujita, Kendo Kashin & NOSAWA Rongai on March 25 in Saitama.

The invading trio made their presence known against Suwama on the February 3 show in Yokohama, as they assaulted Suwama. This led to Hikaru Sato and Yusuke Okada to try and aid Suwama in repel the assault. After the attack Suwama knew that he needed to recruit the two for a revived “Evolution” to enact some revenge. There has been much publicity between Suwama and Fujita over the years which stems back to their last encounter in November of 2015 during Genichiro Tenryu’s retirement show.

Then Takao Omori took part in a press conference, as he announced that he will be making his return on the March 25 show after being out with a minor neck injury in early January. Omori stated that he wants a shot at the Asia Tag Champions in Jun Akiyama and Yuji Nagata for his return match. Omori did not name who he may be teaming with, but did say that it is who he felt will be an appropriate and trustworthy partner.

This match joins the previously announced main event which will see Doering defend the Triple Crown belt against Miyahara.

The full event cards were announced for the two April shows in Tokyo and Osaka. The shows will feature Tatsumi Fujinami both teaming with Bob Backlund on the 4/20 show at the Korakuen Hall and against him at the 4/21 show in Osaka.

Fujinami and Backlund have a rivaled history which stems back to the two in the late 1970′s and early 80′s in the WWF. The main event of the Korakuen Hall show will see Fujinami teaming with Backlund and Riki Choshu as they take on a former WWF trio of TAJIRI, Jinsei Shinzaki and KENSO. The Osaka show will then feature Fujinami, Choshu and Masakatsu Funaki taking on Backlund, Yoshiaki Fujiwara and Hiro Saito. About BushidoRX

I have been following Japanese Pro Wrestling for 20 years now and I have also been doing some form of covering it either in news or results for nearly 15 years as well. I got my start in promotions like AJPW, NJPW, FMW and Michinoku Pro. With All Japan being my go to promotion till this very day. Throughout the years I have followed All Japan more closely than any of the others out there, and thus I have taken it upon myself to keep people informed with what is happening all throughout sport in Japan. If it does not appear on the news feed I either do not follow it closely enough to relate the information or it just not my go to promotion in general. Follow Puroresu Spirit, which is my personal site, as I do my best to keep you all informed with what is happening in the land of the rising sun.
