~ Suzuki finally accepted Goto’s challenge for a NEVER Openweight Championship match at Wrestle Kingdom, saying he wouldn’t just take Goto’s hair, but that he would end Goto. He also seemed to put his own hair on the line as well, saying whoever wins the match will get the title and the clippers, all or nothing.
~ Hiroshi Tanahashi made an appearance and apologized for not being able to wrestle tonight, but assured everyone his knee is improving, and that he would be ready in time for his Intercontinental Championship defense against Jay White at Wrestle Kingdom. Jay White came to the ring to confront Tanahashi, and a brawl quickly ensued. In the end White got the upper hand after attacking Tanahashi’s injured knee.

~ After the match, Naito invited Okada to shake his hand, only to attack him when he reached out his hand. Okada briefly took the upper hand and even locked in his new Cobra Clutch hold, but Naito escaped and laid the champion out with a Destino.
