Winner: Hikaru (8:34) with a Cross Armbar on Yohei.
(2) 8 Man Tag Match: Jun Akiyama, Dory Funk Jr., Osamu Nishimura & Yutaka Yoshie vs. Takao Omori, Masanobu Fuchi, Ryoji Sai & Dalton Drellich
Winner: Nishimura (5:50) with a Ground Cobra Twist on Drellich.

(3) B BLOCK: Naoya Nomura vs. Daichi Hashimoto
Winner: Daichi (5:08) following a Shining Wizard.

~ Referee Kyohei Wada made his return to the ring after being out of action due to injury for the last several months.

~ Miyahara stated that he will be the first in 16 years to win the Carnival as the reigning Triple Crown Champion.

~ Doering celebrates his 35th birthday with a win over last year’s champion. Doering declared that 2017 will be his year.
