~ All Japan held their first show of the nee year at the Korakuen Hall early in the afternoon. Among the major announcements is that KAI, now freelance from W-1, appeared and announced that he will be competing in the promotion in February. KAI last competed for the promotion before the WRESTLE-1 exodus in 2013. KAI was originally building himself up as a potential heavyweight hopeful, but things changed after the issues leading to the exodus. Though now after a few years and things settling down KAI is looking to get back in the hunt for the title that has alluded his grasp in the Triple Crown belt.
