Pro Wrestling NOAH “NEW YEAR Navigation 2016”, 1/9/2016 [Sat] 18:30 @ Korakuen Hall in Tokyo

~ All of the NOAH wrestlers came out to greet the fans for the new year.
~ Genga Hirayanagi was announced to be the new “Chairman of Talent” after Sugiura relinquished the role to join SZKG.
~ Genba stated that NOAH pulled together and became tighter nit with trying to reclaim the belts last year and he hopes that they can only get stronger in 2016.
~ Vice President, and GHC Heavy Champion, Naomichi Marufuji stated that rough seas are still ahead, but that NOAH will continue to thrive and become stronger in the end.

(1) Akitoshi Saito & Genba Hirayanagi vs. Quiet Storm & Kaito Kiyomia
◆Winner: Saito (10:43) following the Sickle Death on Kiyomiya.
(2) GHC Jr Prelude 6 Man Tag Match: Taiji Ishimori, Yoshinari Ogawa & Hitoshi Kumano vs. Kenoh, Hajime Ohara & Mitsuhiro Kitamiya
◆Winner: Kitamiya (10:46) following the Spear on Kumano.

(3) GHC Jr Tag Prelude: Daisuke Harada vs. TAKA Michinoku
◆Winner: Harada (8:56) with the Katayama German Suplex Hold.
(4) GHC Jr Tag Prelude: Atsushi Kotoge vs. Taichi
◆Winner: Taichi (11:09) with the Taichi style Gedo Clutch.
~ Harada with the win, but Kotoge suffers the cheap loss to Taichi.

(5) GHC Tag Prelude: Lance Archer, Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Takashi Iizuka vs. Muhammad Yone, Katsuhiko Nakajima & Yoshihiro Takayama [FREE]
◆Winner: Nakajima (12:07) with a Hurricanrana on Archer.
~ Nakajima claimed the win over the champion in the prelude match as he declared that Yone and himself will capture the belts for NOAH.
~ Side note: Nakajima appeared with a new theme and a new attire for his official first match as a NOAH wrestler.

(6) Special Tag Match: Go Shiozaki & Yoshinobu Kanemaru [both FREE] vs. Shelton “X” Benjamin & El Desperado
◆Winner: Kanemaru (14:57) following the Touch Out on Desperado.
~ Kanemaru makes his return to the NOAH ring as he claims a win over SZKG right off the bat.

(7) GHC Heavy Prelude: Naomichi Marufuji & Maybach Taniguchi vs. Takashi Sugiura & Minoru Suzuki
◆Winner: Sugiura (19:14) following the Olympic Qualifying Slam on Maybach.
~ Suzuki declared that with Sugiura on his side that they will overwhelm everyone that is before them.
~ Shiozaki confronted Suzuki following the match.
